Our homes were originally built with JELD-WEN Traditional Builder Series windows. These have served us well over the past 30 plus years, however windows wear over time.

When the window seals leak between the panes of glass, the windows become cloudy and unsightly. The association will not replace the glass on these any longer due to the high rate of window failures. Please submit a Maintenance Request Form to the property manager if you have a window that needs to be inspected.

Windows also become drafty, however the association only repairs windows to ensure exterior aesthetics or to prevent damage to the structure. Drafts caused by worn sashes are the responsibility of the co-owner. Some of our co-owners have had excellent results with a simple sash seal rebuild. Dave’s Glass Service (269) 3375-2036 can provide this service at the co-owners expense.

The co-owner, at their expense may also choose to replace the windows.  In order to make sure the Board approved windows and/or slider are being used, the association will require you to go through the associations preferred contractor, JP Builders. Please contact the property manager to inquire about the Board approval process.﻿
